I provide individual therapy, specializing in anxiety, depression, experiences of trauma, and problematic drug and alcohol use or addiction. I recognize that these struggles can stand alone, but are more often co-occurring and connected to each other or with other difficult life experiences and transitions. I believe these struggles should be treated and addressed concurrently and holistically. Treatment plans fall on a wide spectrum of intervention and intensity to meet your individual needs at this time. I believe therapy allows individuals to explore challenges that they are facing and uncover new strategies for coping, taking control, and moving forward.
My background as a Yoga Teacher with specialized training in Yoga-Informed Psychotherapy and Trauma Sensitive Yoga informs my practice. I incorporate whole person approaches to healing, utilizing mindfulness, breath work, and exploration of the mind-body connection to support ongoing change and increased awareness.
I practice with a collaborative, compassionate style that centers on the therapeutic relationship. In our initial sessions, we will focus on clarifying the concerns bringing you to therapy, identifying some possible goals and discussing a plan for treatment.
